Promoting Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs from Geneva

The Geneva Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs (GIHR) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. Established in 2004, GIHR is committed to promoting human rights, advancing humanitarian values, and turning these principles into action worldwide.

Working closely with international and national partners, GIHR focuses on empowering disadvantaged and vulnerable communities. Through research, education, and policy development, we address the complex challenges facing human rights and humanitarian affairs today.

Over the years, GIHR has organized numerous seminars, lectures, regional consultations, and international training programs to foster a global culture of human rights and strengthen humanitarian engagement.
