The Geneva Institute for Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs participated in the 14th UN Forum on Business and Human Rights, held in Geneva from 24 to 26 November 2025, under the theme “Accelerating Action on Business and Human Rights amid Crises and Transformations.”
The Forum convened governments, businesses, civil society, and international organizations to discuss critical issues such as human rights due diligence, environmental accountability, artificial intelligence, gender-responsive approaches in times of crisis, investor responsibilities, and access to justice and effective remedies.
Established by the UN Human Rights Council in 2011, the Forum serves as a global platform to advance the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
