GIHR

Deputy Head, Lt. General Abdulrahim Hamdan Dagallo of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attended the inauguration of the training course focused on raising the capabilities of regular forces and law enforcement officials, organized by the Institute (GIHR).

Major General Dagalo stressed on the necessity in raising the capabilities of the regular forces in the field of human rights as it ensures that they perform their duty and carry out the tasks assigned to them in a professional manner, hence reducing human rights violations.

Finally, Major General Dagalo expressed his happiness in cooperating with the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Geneva Institute for Human Rights and further added that the absence of effective training, qualification and cooperation with international human rights organizations negatively affects the great efforts made by the State, describing it as the strategic goal of the RSF.
