Conclusion of the advanced training course on the international protection of women's rights

The advanced training course on international mechanisms for the protection of women's rights comes to an end.

Completion of the advanced training course on international mechanisms for the protection of women's rights organized by the Geneva Institute for Human Rights with the participation of 25 participants from the Middle East and North Africa region.

The training programme was held in the margins of the work of the 82nd session of the CEDAW Committee where the reports of the Kingdom of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates were discussed at the headquarters of the Institute and the United Nations headquarters in Geneva between 19 and 23 June 2022.


The Geneva Institute for Human Rights extends its sincere thanks, respect and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the advanced training course on mechanisms for the international protection of women's rights, in particular the professors and trainers of the course, Mr. Nazar Abdulgadir and Ms. Smisha Reyah, as well as those who participated in the events of the programme.

We also thank Mr. Sahl Al-Junaid, Mohamed Al-Mujtabi and all the staff of the Geneva Institute for Human Rights for their great efforts and thank all those who contributed to the success of the training programme from participants from the Middle East and North Africa region.
