Applications for the Geneva Training Courses 2012 can already be submitted.

The courses on the Human Rights Treaty Monitoring Bodies will coincide with the following UN Human Rights Treaty Monitoring Bodies and Human Rights Council sessions to guarantee Trainees’ participation.

• 25 - 29 January: The Role of CEDAW; coinciding with CEDAW Session and consideration of the reports of Egypt and UAE.
• 15 - 19 February: The Role of UPR; coinciding with the consideration of the reports of  Egypt and Iraq.
• 26 - 30 April: The Role of CAT; coinciding with the consideration of the reports of Jordan and Syria.
• 10 - 14 May: The Role of UPR; coinciding with the consideration of the report of Kuwait & The Role of the CESCR coincide with the consideration of the report of  Algeria.
• 7 - 11 June: The Role of CRC & The Role of the Human Rights Council (HRC); coincide with the HRC 14th session.
• 4 - 8 October: The Role of CEDAW; coinciding with the consideration of the report of Tunisia.
• 29 November - 3 December: The Role of UPR; coinciding with the consideration of the reports of Libya, Mauritania and Lebanon.
